The Three E’s: wellbeing in EOI classrooms

 In MF TALKS

Estrés | Emoción | Error

April has been a special month. Over these weeks, we’ve shared a space for reflection, learning, and connection around something that runs through every aspect of our teaching practice: emotions.

Through The Three E’s for Estrés, Emoción, Error (Stress, Emotions, and Error) we’ve explored three essential dimensions of our daily work in Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas:

  • How to manage stress when difficult emotions arise, both in ourselves and in the classroom.

  • How to use emotional intelligence to motivate and connect with our students more deeply.

  • How to approach error as an opportunity for learning, from a constructive and supportive perspective.

Beyond specific tools or strategies, these sessions have been an invitation to pause, observe, and rethink how we inhabit our role as teachers.

Because teaching is not only about delivering content. It is about accompanying processes, holding space for emotions, and also taking care of ourselves so we can take care of others.
