Book presentation in Fuengirola

 In MF TALKS

I am proud to share today some images, materials and thoughts about a belated presentation of Be Mindful. The event was celebrated last October 16th in Fuengirola, my home town.

My deepest gratitude to Biblioteca Lope de Vega for making this possible and special thanks to Paqui who introduced the interview beautifully with a reminder of my first teaching practices in this very district of El Boquetillo back in 1987.

The talk was going to be about the founder of Mindfulness and the benefits of the practice in the learning community, all nicely illustrated with slides that I had specifically created for the audience. It turns out Mr Carlos Torres – ExLibric CEO – came with an imaginative proposal that I couldn’t resist. His vision for the presentation was to interview the author following some fascinating questions written on his notebook.

The content of Be Mindfuwas then displayed with an active participation of the public who were invited to share some aspects of Mindfulness following flashcards they could randomly find at the back of their seats.

A few minutes before closing up a guided practice (below) was conducted and interesting feedback from participants was heard.

It was indeed a day to remember!

I attended Maria Teresa’s presentation and was delightfully surprised by both her skilful and calm way of presenting the topic and the content itself.
A very enjoyable evening with a wonderful interviewee.
